olunteers make this ministry work. It takes many volunteers to assemble the meals, to make the sandwiches and to deliver the meals.
Assembly of the meals are done twice/week and usually on Monday morning and Wednesday afternoon.
The picture on the left are meals ready for the drivers to transport to the schools. Drivers will meet the kids at school and hand them their meal. We supply meals to Evergreen, Springview and Oakwood Schools which each require their own driver every day of the week.
What to Donate: 100% juice boxes, pudding cups, granola bars, brown lunch bags. (All items need to be shelf stable and should not need to be refrigerated)
How to Donate: All product donations can be dropped off M-F from 9-4 at Life Stream Church (6561 Lake Michigan Drive, Allendale, MI). Enter by the office doors (door A) and notify the office staff of your drop off donation and I will pick them up from there. If you'd like to make a monetary donation you can make the check out to "Manna Meals of Allendale" and mail to 11037 60th Avenue, Allendale, MI 49401. If you would like a tax receipt for your donation please indicate this along with your donation.
Other ways to get involved: If you, your family or group would like to do a one-time service project please contact me at [email protected] to set up a time. This is a great way to earn community service hours for the National Honors Society, GVSU Sociology classes, etc.
